The Kinigerhof has been cooking for guests since 1969. In 2006, Paul, the current farmer at Kinigerhof, took over the farm pub from his parents and turned it into the flagship business it is today. Making 'Speck' and sausages is his great passion. When things get really busy in the kitchen, he also helps out there. His wife Margit used to do all the work in the kitchen more or less on her own. Today, his son Andreas, a trained chef, has taken on the role of chef in the kitchen. He enjoys the daily challenge of putting together a great menu, mostly from what the farm has to offer. His mother Margit takes the reservations and now works mainly in service. She tends and cares for the farm's own garden and grows vegetables, soft fruit and aromatic herbs. Daughter Johanna is a qualified hotel manager and creates the delicious desserts in the kitchen. She also helps with the service. The future successor to the farm is son Patrick. He is a trained carpenter, attended the agricultural college in Dietenheim and takes care of big and little matters on the farm. He also carries out all the necessary repairs on the farm with great skill.
