Breath in pure freedom on the back of a Haflinger – a breed of blonde horse native to South Tyrol. While you are exploring the unique landscape of South Tyrol on horseback, your children can spend unforgettable hours with the ponies in the stable or in the meadow. How could you resist?

Criteria
The following criteria have to be fulfilled in order for the farm to be classified as ‚riding farms‘:
  • there are at least five horses kept in the stables all year round
  • a well-kept tack room and saddlery is available for each horse
  • there are wash facilities as well as washing for riding equipment right by the stables
  • there is a cupboard for the riding gear
  • approved safety helmets are available
  • animal insurance and accident insurance guarantee required protection and offer safety
  • a vet’s certificate can vouch for the health of the horses
  • guests will be able to groom and look after the horses if they want
  • a qualified riding instructor is on hand to take guided hacks out
  • one family member on the farm can give instructions on how to handle horses
  • specialist literature and information on horseriding is available

‘Red Rooster‘ ensures that these criteria are observed.
