Going barefoot and walking through the morning dew, arm and foot baths, guided herb walks and cookery courses - taking Kneipp treatments offered by specially trained farmwomen will help you to recharge your batteries and turn your holiday into a source of strength.
Criteria
The following criteria have to be observed in order for a farm to carry the description of ‚Kneipp farm’:
- Inside the house there is a bathing room that contains a hose, grille, foot bath and arm bath. Alternatively, the fittings in the bathing house may also be found in the holiday flat or room. The bathtubs may be hired for each holiday flat or room. In the holiday flat or room the bathroom has to have enough space for the purpose.
- There are barefoot walking facilities (structured path), dew walking, water treading or arm bathing near the farm (farm fountain, stream…)
- A family member holds certified Kneipp health trainer status with a valid licence and takes care of you on a one-to-one basis.
- You enjoy a breakfast with a variety of products from the farm and plenty of herb teas, juices, cereal coffee, fresh grain porridge, honey, seasonal fruit and vegetables. The majority of the food is wholegrain.
- Range of alcohol-free drinks from the farm all year round.
- Range of fruit and vegetables or processed products from the farm all year round.
- Well-kept house and herb garden on the farm.
- Two supervised Kneipp offers a week, such as round tables, talks, practical exercises, cookery courses, guided herb walks, singing etc.
