Looking out from the
wood-panelled ’stube‘ across the white winter landscape will really make you want to go
cross-country skiing,
sledging,
skiing or on a
winter walk in the glittering snow. Before all of this, though, guests on a ‘Red Rooster’ farm in winter can enjoy a farmhouse breakfast lovingly prepared with fresh farm products.
There’s ham and ’speck‘, fresh milk, cheese and other dairy products to go with tasty home-made bread. This is in addition to jams, honey and home-made fruit juices and cakes. The farmer will also serve coffee and
tea made from dried farm herbs from the farm garden. Happy farm hens lay an egg a day, which the little guests can collect from the nest themselves to be made into a variety of egg dishes.
On request, a
breakfast hamper full of tasty items can be placed in front of the door of your holiday flat for a particularly leisurely start to the day, giving you renewed vigour ahead of the day’s adventures on and around the farm.
