Dessert

Muesli bars

ingredients ( for ca. 30 bars )

550 g roughly chopped walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts & cashew nuts
250 g dried fruit (apricots, pears, damsons, dates, cranberries…)
250 g porridge oats
Cinnamon
100 g sultanas
5 free-range eggs
100 g sesame, chia & pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp. honey
50 g wholemeal flour

preparation

Combine the nuts, oats, sultanas, seeds, flour, dried fruit and cinnamon well. Beat the eggs with the honey until foamy and mix well with the nut mixture. Spread the mixture over the baking tray lined with baking parchment and press it down. Bake at 180° C for approx. 20 minutes.Cut into bars while still warm and then allow to cool and store in a biscuit tin.
