Grappa semifreddo

ingredients ( Serves 4 persons )

4 free-range eggs
120 g sugar
1 packet vanilla sugar
250 ml cream
1 shot of grappa (Gewürztraminer)

preparation

Cream together the egg yolk with the vanilla sugar in a bowl over a bain marie. Add the grappa and stir until cold. Carefully fold in the beaten egg whites and the whipped cream. Line a narrow tin with cling film, pour in the mixture and place in the freezer.
