Berry compote

ingredients

50 ml water
2 dstspn raspberry cordial
1 dstspn sugar
1 dstspn rum or Grand Marnier
250 g berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, gooseberries)

preparation

Boil up water, raspberry cordial and sugar for about 2 minutes. Add berries, bring to the boil once more and add rum or Grand Marnier. Pour into a bowl and serve.
