The wine-producing village of Girlan has its own special allure, with its individual character and numerous wineries lined up one after the other. In fact, people say that Girlan is larger under the ground than above ground. Every year Girlan holds a ‘Kirchtag’, or parish fête, named after the patron saint of the village, St. Martin, and a large market is set up. The end of the harvest is also a good reason to take a well-earned break.
Shopping, chatting, enjoying good food and wine!
