The well-known "Thanksgiving Farmers' Market" will take place on Saturday 15^th October on the Waltherplatz in the city centre of Bolzano. The event is organised by the Bauernbund (Farmers' association) and represents a celebration of the farmers hard work throughout the year. The market gives visitors the opportunity to see, taste and buy farm products first hand and to be in direct contact with the farmers.

Thanksgiving Farmers' Market has had great success in the past years with lots of people visiting from near and far. It is an amazing experience to have a variety of farm products including speck, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, wines, herbs as well as farm handcrafts available all in one place.
 
The entertainment programme consists of musical interludes, kids' programm, a cookery demonstration with regional products and a vintage tractor exhibition.
 
Please note that this event has been awarded “Green Event” and we kindly ask you to use public transport for your arrival.
Opening hours are from 8.30am until 5.00pm.
