At the Schnalshuberhof nature calls the shots: outside, amidst the Oberplars vineyards and orchards or under the vines, and inside, in the dining rooms of the organic farm, which enjoy listed building status. The special, and in particular, healthy, atmosphere may be felt everywhere. You can take a trip back in time in the 'newspaper room' - a real attraction, where you can read the newspapers of yesteryear on the walls.

Food and drink

Spinach ravioli, various dumplings, Speck, smoked sausage, cheese. On request gnocchi, spare ribs, roast veal. In autumn house sausage with cabbage, damson dumplings. Juices: apple, blackcurrant, elderflower, lemon balm and peppermint.

Our vines

The 2016 Fraueler is reminiscent of light blossom and fresh apple. This rare feature has an animately fresh and salty effect on the palate. The 2017 Pinot Blanc is somewhat reserved in scent and displays notes of light blossom. The 2017 Vernatsch is reminiscent of violet and bitter almond in finish. The 2016 Pinot Noir has clear tannins with a bitter yet animated finish. The 2016 Chambourcin has a spicy-fruit nose. The 2016 cuvée has an interesting nose of red and dark fruit with light spice.

To go by car

From Töll, go in the direction of Oberplars. At Oberplars, turn right at the Wiedmair guesthouse and right again after 30 m. The farm is on the left side.

To hoof

The 'Schnalshuberhof' is situated in the centre of Oberplars - 100 m from the Waalweg path at Algund.

Opening times

Open from 1st March until 21st July and from 15th August until 15th December from Thursday to Sunday from 6.00 pm. Advance booking required.
