When Daniel Jocher talks about his Tyrolean Grauvieh cattle herd, which he built up himself, his eyes light up. The cattle spend winter in their exercise pen and summer up on the pasture at 2,000 metres above sea level. “The high quality hay and tangy mountain herbs give the meat their special taste“, the farmer is happy to say. The meat is available on the farm to order.
Drive from Brixen via St. Andrä to Afers. Go past the village along the main road with 2 bends and then turn off left to the farm (follow sign).
