Holidays on an allergy-friendly farm

Wake up in the morning, throw open the window and take in the amazing scenery - on a farm where the fruit blossom season is shorter, the drinking water cleaner and the rooms generally healthier – on an allergy-free farm in South Tyrol. At last, a place where allergy sufferers can really look forward to spending their holiday! You will be able to breathe easily here and relax in the midst of nature with the minimum of stress. You will see the 3000 metre high mountains of the Alps stretching up before you with the villages and hamlets lying beneath whilst enjoying the uniquely clean mountain air. Interested?

The following criteria have to be fulfilled in order for a farm to be classified as ‚allergy-friendly‘:
  • the farm is situated in an area with a low pollen count and a short blossoming season
  • guests are able to keep themselves up to date with the latest pollen counts in the area
  • the water is clean, untreated and not hard water
  • all guest rooms or holiday flats are furnished and adapted for those suffering from allergies
  • building materials and furnishings are mostly natural and untreated
  • all rooms are smoke-free zones

The South Tyrolean Farmers‘ Union monitors the observation of these criteria.
