The Country Gourmet is now out and features the ‚Rural Inn of the Year’.

The companion to rural cuisine contains 18 selected farm inns and 16 farm bars located over the whole of South Tyrol. The Farmers’ Union of South Tyrol carries out checks on the farms beforehand and subjects them to strict quality controls.
Rural atmosphere, good facilities and traditional farm food, mainly produced on the premises, has played a fundamental role in this selection process. In addition, the farm wine from the bars was tasted by a group of experts from the Laimburg research centre and the Farmers’ Union wine farming workgroup and technical tips were given when necessary.
