The farm
Our historic farm is located in the quiet and sunny hamlet of Steet near the village of Sarnthein, 16 km from the state capital of Bolzano. Surrounded by flowering meadows and green forests at 1030 m above sea level with a wonderful view of the valley, the Botenhof offers an ideal holiday for nature and culture lovers, for hikers and simply for connoisseurs.
The listed farmhouse from the 16th century used to be the home of the court messengers from nearby Reinegg Castle, which was once the seat of the court.
A few years ago we renovated the house with a lot of love and care and equipped it in a contemporary way. It now stands proud again with the almost one meter thick stone walls and the arrow slits.
