Thanks to precious family recipes and regional ingredients, the traditional cuisine in South Tyrol is a real treat for the taste buds. And nowhere else could you learn how to prepare the dishes better than on a farm. The farmer will show you how it's done.

Every day, South Tyrolean farmers spoil their guests with homemade delicacies. This makes a holiday in an apartment or a room on the farm a real treat. So that you can enjoy the delicious dishes even after your holiday is over, you can learn how to make a South Tyrolean dumpling at home in a cooking course on the farm. For a first-class dumpling with 'Speck', spinach or cheese, the most important thing is fresh ingredients. The farmer will teach you the secret to the perfect shaping of the dumplings. Afterwards, this classic South Tyrolean farmer's dish served with fresh cabbage salad is eaten together in the cosy parlour. The farmer doesn't just have one or two tips for the perfect dumpling, but also for many other farm-style dishes.

Hobby bakers will also find themselves in the right place on a farm in South Tyrol. Baking bread is a tradition that has been handed down and on every farm there are old family recipes that are passed on from generation to generation. During a baking course with the farmer, curious guests can also find out which ingredients give the bread its distinctive taste. Not just oven-warm farm bread, but also the smell of freshly baked apple strudel makes guests' mouths water. On the farm in South Tyrol, apple strudel is traditionally made with shortcrust pastry. Of course, the apples come from the orchard on the farm and give the dessert a sweet touch.
