Tendershof in Graun im Vinschgau

A smugglers‘ farm turned into a gourmet farm. On the spot where, in times gone by, dealers carted their illicit wares back and forth between Italy and Austria, the farm’s guests can now enjoy delicacies prepared according to secret recipes. 300-year-old Tendershof farm is situated at a height of 1,160 metres above sea level amidst breathtaking scenery. The Austro-Italian border runs through the farmland. This is not only a great place to be for the farm’s resident highland cattle, but Farm Holiday guests are welcome, too.

House light meals, speck, smoked meat, smoked sausage, cheese, flour soup, rye bread soup. According to season various gnocchi and dumplings. On request: home-made oven-warm ham, herb gnocchi, lamb, pork or beef dishes, various soups and sweets. Juices: elderflower, peppermint, josta.

Open every day lunchtimes and evenings from mid-June to end-September and from mid-December to Easter. Open from Friday to Sunday in October, November and May. Prior notification required for warm dishes.

From Reschen, go in the 'Valiertegg' direction, following path 3 (45 minutes).

Coming from Meran/Merano, turn left 500 m after the village of Reschen/Resia (follow the signs) and drive about 2.5 km up the road.
