Obermoserhof in Feldthurns

The Obermoserhof lies amid mountain pastures and looks out over the pleasant village of Feldthurns. It makes an ideal spot to explore the mountains of the Eisack valley. Those seeking to take it easier can take in the warming rays of the sun on the terrace or simply enjoy the views of the nearby Geisler mountain peaks. The Obermoserhof offers Farm Holidays too.

Speck, cheese, accompanied by home-made bread and cream cheese. Pumpkin soup, barley soup, local Eisacktal dish‚ Schlutzer’ (spinach half-moon ravioli), cheese gnocchi, spinach gnocchi, potato ravioli with cabbage, sautè potatoes, potato 'Erdäpfelblattlen', spare ribs. Sweet fried pastries and ‚kniekiechl’(sweet fried dumpling). Juices: apple, elderflower and blackcurrant.

Open from mid-September to mid-December from Wednesday to Saturday from 17.00 and Sunday from 12.00. Monday and Tuesday closed.

The Chestnut Trail path turns off to the 'Obermoserhof' at the 'Wöhrmaurer' guesthouse in the Schnauders direction (about 40 minutes). You can get to the Fös Chapel from the Obermoserhof in about 5 minutes.

After the motorway exit at Klausen/Chiusa, take the Feldthurns/Velturno direction and turn left in the centre of Feldthurns in the direction of Schnauders. Follow the road for 2 km and the Obermoserhof can be found above the 'Maders' ski lift on the left hand side.
