Description
At Oberlegar farm the farmers really know how to dish up a treat. Both farmhouse parlours and the sun terrace are perfect for savouring delicious food in good company. The Schwarz family’s hospitality and a drop of the house wine complete the experience perfectly.
Food and drink
Cheese, 'Speck', 'Kaminwurzen' smoked sausages and home-baked bread. In spring, asparagus soup, asparagus strudel, bear's garlic or nettle dumpling soup on asparagus ragu, home-made pasta with bear's garlic. Kid goat, roast lamb, asparagus with ham, Bozner sauce and salt potatoes. In autumn, chestnut, pumpkin and barley soup, 'Schlutzer' spinach and ricotta ravioli, cheese, beetroot and nettle gnocchi, pumpkin ravioli, meat platter, spare ribs, roast lamb and jowl of beef, chestnuts and 'Krapfen' fried pastries. In addition apple juice, elderflower cordial, herb cordial and blackcurrant juice.
Our vines
Intensive apple-citrus and herb aromas define the nose of the 2016 Pinot Blanc, which is very harmonious and long-lasting when drunk. The 2016 Sauvignon displays tropical fruit and a hint of green aromas. Its fresh acidity lends it great quaffability. The 2016 Vernatsch has wonderful fruit aromas. It is still somewhat youthful and tannic when drunk.
To go by car
Turn left at Terlan/Terlano in the Mölten/Meltina direction and the 'Oberlegar' can be found on the right hand side of the road after about 4 km.
To hoof
Going along path 4, which takes you from Terlan/Terlano to Mölten/Meltina, you will pass the Oberlegar farmhouse (about 1 hours).
