Opening times

Open from end of March to end of June and from beginning of August to mid December, Mondays to Fridays between 17.00 and 24.00, Saturdays and Sundays from 16.00 to 24.00. Closed on Wednesdays. Sold direct from the farm: honey, wine.

Description

The Nalserbacherkeller is not far from Nals, on the road towards Prissian and Tisens. The Pallweber family will spoil you in the comfortable cellar or under the vines in the open air. The kitchen offers tasty, varied food, hospitality and a friendly atmosphere. Home-distilled fruit schnaps will round off your meal!

Food and drink

Speck, bresaola, beef and sour head of veal, ham, beef carpaccio, smoked beef, cheese, along with hot boiled potatoes. Various soups and spinach ravioli. Meat cuts in autumn with kraut and dumplings as well as fritters, chestnuts and nuts. Cheese dumplings in spring. Juices: apple, elderflower, raspberry.

Our vines

There are two wines are produced from Vernatsch grapes at the Nalserbacherkeller. A lively ruby-red table wine from 2010 with a clear fruity aroma and mild acidity when drunk. Not extremely intensive but very quaffable. The 7/10 bottles of Vernatsch are more intensive in colour and aroma, displaying distinct berry notes, pleasant body and harmonious length.

To go by car

Leave the MeBo dual carriageway at the Vilpian exit and go in the direction of Nals and Prissian. About 500 m after the village centre you will find the Nalserbacherkeller on the left hand side of the road.

To hoof

Starting at the 'Buschenschank', path 9 goes to Sirmian or Grissian (about 1 or 2 hours).
