Description
The Gummererhof lies high above the Brixen valley basin, nestling amongst chestnut groves and vineyards. In autumn, when the days draw in and get cooler, a lot of 'törggelling' goes on in the farmhouse, which involves finishing off the day with tasty farm fare and a glass of the season's new wine. House ‘Sekt’ (sparkling wine), made from the native ‘Blatterle’ grape, is a special feature of the Gummererhof farm.

Our vines
The 2010 Sylvaner is delicately fruity. On the palate it displays vivacious acidity due to its vintage. The 2010 Kerner, with its characteristic nose of apricot and peach, is pleasantly full-bodied and has balanced acidity. The 2010 Portugieser is very characteristic and fruity with barely there tannins and suitable acidity. The 2010 Zweigelt gradually unleashes its fruitiness in the glass. The 2010 Blatterle sekt is a real curiosity, and with its delicate notes of yeast and stimulating character, it makes an excellent aperitif wine.
