No other sporting event in South Tyrol attracts so many cross-country skiers as the Gsieser Tal Lauf, which will take place on 18 February 2012. About 2,000 amateur sports enthusiasts will match their skills against world champions and Olympic champions on the 28-km sprint distance or on the 42-km classic style marathon distance. 
The Gsieser Tal Lauf is a member of both the “Tirol Trophy”, the union of the three most important citizen’s races in the Tyrol, and the “Euroloppet”, the series of the eleven best-established events of its kind in Central Europe. 
The 29th Gsiesertal Lauf takes place from 18th to 19th february 2012.
