Snow Sculpture Festival

Barbed wire, saws and shovels are their tools, boots, earflaps and gloves their equipment – and the god of weather is their patron.
In January 2012 will be held the 22th edition of the International Snow Sculpture Festival in San Candido and St. Vigil.
It will be held from the 11th to the 13th of January at San Candido and from 16th to the 18th of January at St. Vigil. Hopefully the low winter temperatures will contribute to give the sculptures a long last, so they can be admired till the first mild days even in the evenings as they are going to be illulminated.
