Weingut H.Lentsch in Branzoll

H. Lentsch wine farm belonging to the Lentsch family is in the centre of Branzoll, a small district in the South Tyrolean Unterland. The farm has a total of 35 hectares of farmland growing not only fruit, but also vines. The farm has been making its own wine for 120 years and the vineyards cover an extensive and sunny scree area above Branzoll, a result of the raging waters of the Aldein stream. The wine farm has adapted its grape varieties to the territory. Powerful, warm, sandy-stony soil provides the ideal conditions for the cabernet, merlot and lagrein grape varieties to grow. Also cultivated are goldmuskateller and vernatsch.
