The farm
The Salmsein organic farm, in an isolated position at 1,000 m above sea level above St. Konstantin near Völs am Schlern is impressive because of the the innovative ways of the farmer. This organic farm rearing cattle is specialized in rearing calves on full fat milk. The high quality meat is sold on-site along with potatoes and cereal. Martin Kritzinger built an organic gas plant a few years ago which doesn't only produce energy for the farmhouse, but is also sold. The farm also has the number one organic fish farm in South Tyrol, where you can find carp, trout and tench.

Directions
From Völs am Schlern carry on in the direction of Seis am Schlern to St. Konstantin. After the St. Konstantin church turn off down the first road on the right and carry on along the tarmac road.
