Pflegerhof in Kastelruth

The Pflegerhof, a fairly small farmhouse, is situated below the district of Kastelruth (850m) in St. Oswald/Seis. The farmer, Martha, along with her children, is a committed herb farmer and has successfully cultivated 70 different herb and spice plants stretching over an area of a hectare. The harvest and tending work are mainly carried out by hand. A visit to the show garden with over 200 types of herbs is a real attraction and is a paradise of fragances, aromas and colour.
