Griesbauer in Bozen

The Griesbauerhof is in Rentsch, on the edge of Bozen, and has been in the hands of the Mumelter family since 1785. Ist vineyards are in the classic St. Magdalena wine producing area and high quality, ripe grapes are harvested thanks to careful thinning out. The sandy clay soil at the edge of the Rivelaun stream, the warm, early ripening inducing location, the moderate growth of the vines and the many hours of sunshine during the vegetation period mean that full-bodied, harmonious wines are the result. These are then stored in the vaults of the historica wine cellar according to tradition.
