Fruit farm with own distillery
Dieser Betrieb hat sich auf schnaps distillery spezialisiert.
The farm
The Fohlenhof farm, built by the Austria Kaiser as a hospital for lame horses, lies on the western edge of the village of the well-known marble-producing village of Laas in the Vinschgau valley. The first Haflinger stallion was reared here and is the predecessor of all Haflinger ponies. The upper Vinschgau, with its contrasts in landscape and climate, contains an inexhaustible pool of fruit, which are then made into spirits at the Fohlenhof.
