The farm

The Fliederhof farm is situated amid pleasant vineyards in the famous wine village of St. Magdalena above Bozen. Records of the farm first date back to 1306 and it has been in the hands of the same family for 3 generations. Stefan Ramoser is passionate about wine farming and runs his farm with great care. Grapes from the Fliederhof have been made into wine on the farm for a few years now and have received awards and expert recognition.

Visitation

•Presentation of farm•Visit to vineyards with explanation of the individual stages over the course of the agricultural year•Visit to wine cellar with explanation of processing methods of picked grapes to the finished product•Tasting of farm's own wine•Possible visit to 13th century frescos in the Magdalena chapel (about 30 minutes)

Directions

Come off the Bozen Nord exit of the motorway and drive to Rentsch in the Bozen direction. 100 m after the church in Rentsch turn off right to St. Magdalena (signposted) and take the steep road up the hill. The Fliederhof is the second farm on the left.
