Eggerhof in Aldein

The Eggerhof farm is situated at an altitude of 1,200m above the South Tyrol Unterland at Aldein. Limousin cattle are kept in the sheds and on the surrounding meadows. Free range hens have also been raised at the Eggerhof for several years and the Lantscher family is very strict about treating their animals well, which is the guarantee for their high quality eggs. The free range eggs are not only sold in various shops but Erich Gruber, the cook, makes hand-made egg pasta from them.
