Ansitz Kränzel in Tscherms

Nestling amidst the pleasant slopes of the Burggrafenamt and favoured by the mild mediterranean climate around the spa town of Meran is the Kränzel wine farm. Early records of the farm can be found in a document from 1350. Count Franz Pfeil has carried on the ancient wine growing tradition at the Kränzelhof farm and wants to provide the market with individual wines with distinctive vintages and origins. He insists on intensive hand tending of vines, uses no artificial fertiliser in order to achieve this and places great importance on natural delicate grape processing and experienced staff in his wine cellar.
