Earth pyramids
The Ritten cable car will whisk you up to Oberbozen, 900 metres higher than the town, in just a few minutes. More and more Dolomite peaks come into view as you gain altitude, while beneath you can see the famous ‘earth pyramids’ – stalagmite-like columns of earth - in a gully.
At the top you can go for a ride across the meadows and through the woods on the quaint little train amid breathtaking Alpine scenery.
